Hello from the Fenway Porchfest team,

First off, we would like to thank you again for being a part of Fenway Porchfest 2019. We are grateful to have had a talented and diverse group of over 60 performers in 36 locations throughout the Fenway along with stunning weather last year to make the event a smashing success. We’re excited to be bringing Porchfest back to the Fenway in 2020 and would love for your band to be a part of it!

We are monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak closely - and plan on following all government, state, and local guidelines around public gatherings. However, we are optimistic that we will be able to proceed with this year’s Fenway Porchfest currently scheduled for June 20th. We will keep you updated if anything changes, but for now are moving forward on planning this year’s festival. We believe a free community music is more important now than ever and we are committed to organizing Porchfest this year, even if we have to change the date. For all those musicians who may be in need of additional support at this time, we have compiled a list resources at the end of this email. If at all possible, we are very much looking forward to coming together for the 3rd Annual Fenway Porchfest!

If you’re interested in performing at our 3rd Annual Fenway Porchfest on June 20th (rain date June 21st), please fill out the application on our website HERE.

FENWAY PORCHFEST is a collaboration between the Fenway Alliance, the Fenway Civic Association, and the Fenway Community Development Corporation. Our motto is “music everywhere, porches optional.” Unlike most Porchfests, we do the work of soliciting and setting up “porches” throughout the Fenway where individual artists and bands are then placed. “Porches” range from cultural institutions such as the steps of the MFA, BSO, and Simmons University; locations in the historic Emerald Necklace; and outdoor locations at restaurants and bars in the West Fens. Please see the website for a full list of last year’s performers, locations, and map (link is below).

Please help us spread the word about the festival to all of your networks - the musician portal will be open until June 1st - please share widely with your musician friends!

Follow us on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK - We will be using these channels to promote you and the festival. We also will be upgrading our website to feature your bands and your music - stay tuned!

Below is a link to a google drive with the professional photos that were taken by Sophie Park at last year’s Fenway Porchfest. The folders are organized by location. You are welcome to download and use any of the photographs. If you do so, please remember to credit the photographer!
